A Good name is rather to be chosen than great riches and loving favour Father than silver and gold
Is a good name still worth more than riches or have the times changed that statement???
what will a good name buy in this era of Inflation and high costs of living?
Are we supposed to sully our own names too??? And become rich or keep enduring, waiting for better
days like my great grandfather was told when he was a boy, and I am still being told today???
Because, it’s beginning to look like the ones with “bad names” are dominating, their children and grandchildren already integrated into great institutions and offices. Poor mum and dad, abstained from corruption back in the day, here we are, our corrupt neighbors kids just graduated
Harvard and Johns Hopkins Universities respectively…..
Whilst the children of the incorruptible are still 3 years behind with incessant strike actions in their local Universities………. Hmmmm, would employers care that my parents
abstained from corruption, and managed to pay for my education
through the honest sweat of their brows, and the stiffening of their backs???
Versus our neighbors, whose ill gotten gains have solidified their children’s futures.
